At two years old, you said the words no mom ever wants to hear, "Mommy, I'm not a baby anymore."
To which I maturely responded, "Then why do you still use a pacifier?"

AJ SAYS...
We're still working on sentences and more often than not, when you want something, you will nowadays rattle off full sentences, like...
"I'd like a bite please."
"I want more (insert food here) please."
"May I have more (insert food here) please?"
Every so often we revert back. Our latest conversation while you were sitting at the kitchen counter...
AJ: "More"
Mommy: "What?"
AJ: "More."
Mommy: "More what?"
AJ: "Gummy vi-a-mins...please."
Mommy: "Say a sentence. Use your words. What do you say?"
AJ: "I GO GET IT!"
You then proceeded to lunge across the counter, towards your remaining gummy vitamin. Not quite what I was planning for.

AJ SAYS...
Most parents at this point, would give there kid another olive and call it good. Not me. We're working on not only manners, but using full sentences right now. You're getting the hang of it, but every now and then we go back to square one. Here's how our conversation went...
AJ: "More."
Mommy: "What?"
AJ: "Please."
Mommy: "Please what?"
AJ: "More please."
Mommy: "Can you say a sentence and tell me what you want? Say a sentence."
AJ: "Sentence."

AJ SAYS...
"Potty. Pee pee. Poop? Wipe. All done! Yay!"
No privacy for the mom of a 17-month old. Thanks for the play-by-play commentary.

AJ SAYS...
"I poop."
By the smell of it, I would say you did too. I'm guessing potty training is not too far away.
