Talented and gifted...I wouldn't have believed it if you're dad didn't hear it too, but we're convinced you said your very first complete sentence at 13 months old.  "I wan tu geh dow."  It certainly sounded like "I want to get down." to your dad and me.

Not only did you say it, but you said it 3 times in a row, as you crawled towards the end of our bed, trying to get down.  Amazing.  Simply amazing and a little creepy.  Actually very creepy.  It's making me think that your dad and I shouldn't use some of the words we use around you.

Talented and gifted...."Look Mom, one hand and eyes closed!"

3 months old and holding your own bottle. Not only holding your own bottle, but with one hand! Not bad, considering this doesn't usually happen for at least another 3 months. The photo doesn't quite show it, but you're actually holding the bottle. No, it's not resting on your little pot belly. Pretty amazing. Well, at least amazing to a first-time mother, who's always comparing her baby to all the baby benchmarks.

Although a coworker saw this picture and one-upped you. His son used to hold a bottle with his two feet as a baby. I was tempted to make a comment with the word monkey in it, but thought better than to use the words monkey and son in the same sentence. That coworker was my manager. The manager in charge of my yearly bonus.

Talented and gifted...you have to be the most advanced 9-week old out there right now. Why? You can hold your own bottle! The average baby can hold it's own bottle around 6-10 months old. You...a little over two months. That's my child! Although I'm sure Dad will probably try to take credit for it on behalf of the Hansen's.

It may have only lasted 30 seconds, but you are truly talented and gifted. And so advanced. Now I've got something to brag about next time I'm at Mommy and Me Group. Yeah, we'll show that one mom up who bragged about her 6-week old being able to rollover. It wasn't even a textbook definition of a rollover. I saw it.
