WINO

What do parents do at vineyards on Memorial Weekend?

Drink a lot of wine with their friends.

What does a toddler do at those same vineyards on Memorial Weekend?

 Pick clovers.

 Run around between the vines.

Jump off anything that can be climbed.

Play in barkdust.

GROSSER THAN GROSS

What's gross?  Your new habit of sticking your hand down your diaper.  What's grosser than gross?  You running up to me yelling, "Eeww!  Eeww!" with a handful of something from said diaper.  This will teach me to change your diaper quicker.

15 MINUTES

All that Jazz Photography is still using your photo for advertising.  Although this time your eyes were photo shopped.  If you ever wondered what your eyes would look like lighter, now you know.

SHOE FETISH

You arrived to Julie's this morning with two left feet.  Literally.

I don't know which is worse.  The fact that I bought this cute pink ruffle Mary Jane in three different sizes for you, or the fact that your dad  managed to put two left shoes on you without noticing.

Three pairs of the exact same shoe in 3 different sizes?  Overkill to most, but practical to me.  I only have to go shoe shopping once, not three separate times.  Your Aunt Lori and I made a trip up to Seattle for See Kai Run's warehouse sale and look what we came back with this past weekend...

That's a lot of shoes.

A THOUSAND WORDS

If a picture is worth a thousand words, this one pretty much sums up your and Saiyan's personalities...

Saiyan, laid back and content.  You, so fast and on the go, that even the camera can't keep up with your antics.

EXHAUSTED

After an afternoon at the Portland Children's Museum, I couldn't figure out why I was so exhausted.  Maybe it had something to do with trying to keep up with you at...

 The Curious George Exhibit...

 The clay play area...

 The giant lite brite...

 The water play area...

 The veterinarian center...

 The kid-sized banister...

The construction zone...

The bus...

The nursery...

Or maybe it was the kiddie play garden, workshop, grocery store, tree area, or car playland.

MESSY

While your dad was away in Munich for a week on business, you and I ate out a lot.  Not because I didn't feel like cooking.  I didn't feel like cleaning your high chair messes after every meal.   So I let other people...
